The Swedish stylish mom-blogger Avenymamman recently blogged about our brand new Isis Shorts! We believe Jennifer would look absolutely amazing in these and are looking forward to, and are curious about how she will style them when it gets a little warmer outside.

What do you write as a first post when you’ve been asked to run the blog temporarily for your favourite label? Something like this we think:
We will take on the assignment as bloggers during Sofies maternity leave with great love and pride, and make these months as interesting and inspiring as we possibly can, with an outsiders perspective on all things Minimarket.

The 8th of March, all mothers at Minimarket will join RFSU's walk to focus medias attention on matters relating to deaths of mothers in developing countries.
We will walk the walk in Stockholm 12.00 from Norrmalmstorg. Be there!
If you don't live in Stockholm and still want to participate, click here to see other cities where you can walk.

Goran Kajfes, the wonderful (and obviously good-looking) trumpeter/jazz musician, who creates all our show music won the Nordic Music Prize Thursday. Congratulations Goran!
And with the trumpet.

Minimarket and Brio support RFSU's struggle to focus media's attention on matters relating to deaths of mothers in developing countries. To help out; JOIN THE WALK IN STOCKHOLM THE 8th of March. All mothers walking will get to keep the stroller cover produced by Brio, with Minimarket's Ikat pattern. Last time, 800 mothers joined in, let's aim for 1000 this time.
Time to present Rike and Julia, our extremely good looking PR contacts for NY. Their agency, Agency V, have been working with Minimarket since our 3rd season (AW07) and today they present the collection in Copenhagen as well as NY. Agency V is one of our top-favorite-partners-in-crime, and obviously inspiring not only in talent but also in looks.
A good report from Handelsbanken's online-TV. I am talking about what is important for us (creating concepts and spreading inspirational joy), followed by a financial fashion-discussion. In Swedish though…
Yesterday, we took a tour to TV4 to discuss why models are so skinny, and why they look so angry on the catwalk. Look at the clip here.
At Minimarket, we keep our sales collection (used by models for runway and shoots) at a size 36 (S) instead of 34 (XS), to avoid using the skinniest models. We want to encourage all you girls to keep your own personal beauty. Please, do not aim for skinny and hungry!
This is a very important topic, 10 minutes in the studio is not nearly enough. We hope to discuss this matter more in media further down the road.

We are going through our backstage material from the AW12 show. The first pic we chose is this, of Rossy getting make-up by the one and only Igna/Link Details. Love this picture, taken by Marcus Palmqvist/Adamsky.

Our CEO is brilliant in many ways. Here he is on the morning of the show, helping us solve the problem of missing curtains. 2 hours before the show we still were not sure of how to arrange the stage, as we lost our original plan with the lost curtains. Of course, it all worked our in the end but when I took this picture I had quite a high panic-level pounding in my chest.
We have had some crazy days, with 2 gorgeous divas in town, preparing for the AW12 show. No time for blogging then… Here is a pic from our small rendez-vous the night before the show. Rossy de Palma just arrived to her hotel room at Berns and we all had dinner in their Asian restaurant.
Charlie Caper, magician, to the left, Jewels Good next to him, then you have Rossy and finally - me. I don't show many pics of myself here, so take your chance and enjoy ;) On the other side of the table we had my sisters and fellow designers, our choreographer Jon, brilliant Tess from the office and Jess Love, artist.
Charlie coached Rossy and Jewels in learning the magic tricks (!) that we incorporated in the fashion show. Could not tell you this before the show, would have ruined the surprise…

One day before the show! Seeing the clothes all packed up to go to Berns, for the AW12 show, gives a sense of no turning back. Thinking about all things that can go wrong, realizing it's less than half an hour left before showtime, gulp.
Today we met with our models and our stylist Oscar Lange and his assistant Josefine. Our change of silhouette from cocoon to long A-shape will be clearly visible on the show. Also, we have created the first thin heel silhouette shoe we truly love. It is not buy buy wedges, but helloooo sleek heel. Here is Oscar trying on a dress at Agnes.
And Tess, who his handling all logistics on the show, smirking behind her heavy notebook with all the to-do lists. To the left, our lovely intern Judith.
And where Tess is, there is not seldom a Coke light…
